Public ZOOM Meeting: February 2

Our next Public ZOOM Meeting takes place February 2nd! Residents can meet in an accessible virtual setting for a group discussion with the Councillor. What we talk about is entirely up to you...the residents! It's a great opportunity to share your thoughts on municipal issues as well as listen to the perspectives of other residents.

This meeting will take place from 5:30pm – 6:30pm, and residents can access the meeting through this ZOOM meeting link or with the ZOOM Meeting ID 958 5187 6434.

Pop-Up Community Drop-In: February 6

Want to have a one-on-one meeting in-person with Councillor Devine? Then our Pop-Up Community Drop-In series is right for you! Every two weeks we'll be planting ourselves in one of four coffee shops across Ward 9. Residents can book a 15-minute slot to talk briefly with the Councillor about a specific issue.

Our February 6th session will take place from 9:00am - 10:00am at Second Cup at 1715 Merivale Road. Please check back here soon for a link to register.

Public Meeting: 1545A Merivale

This public meeting is for discussion of the proposed development application for 1545A Merivale Road (Application #D07-12-22-0190). The meeting will take place Tuesday, February 7th from 7:30pm - 9:00pm.

This online ZOOM meeting is open to residents from the Skyline and Fisher Heights communities, as well as adjoining neighbourhoods. Along with Ward 9 Councillor Sean Devine and his staff, City of Ottawa planners will be on hand. At this point we do not know if representatives from the developer/applicant will be in attendance.

The purpose of this meeting is to share comments/concerns about the application, as well as to ask questions to the various stakeholders present. Councillor Sean Devine and his Executive Assistant Tim Abray will moderate the discussion, with a requirement that the discussion be civil and respectful to all parties involved.

Following the meeting, residents will have until February 15th to submit their written comments on this application, either to the City of Ottawa planner [email protected], or on the City of Ottawa's website.
