As Councillor Devine's Senior Advisor, Tim combines 30 years of experience and expertise in governance, public policy and communications with an innate understanding of how to move people towards a desired goal, making him invaluable in helping to shape and advance the Councillor's overall mission. Tim is primarily responsible for agenda and issues management, strategic communications, policy and legislative matters, and handles resident inquiries related to planning files and revenue matters. Tim also works closely with the Councillor on Ward 9 planning files and supports the Councillor at Council meetings. Having completed his PhD in Canadian Politics and Political Theory at Queen's University in 2024, Dr. Abray is an award-winning communications consultant who has worked in and around politics and public policy for three decades, supporting senior decision-makers in both the public and private sectors. Tim is a former board member and chair of the Planning Committee for the Centretown Community Citizens Association and has served on various volunteer boards within his communities.
