As the Executive Assistant for Ward 9, Tim is primarily responsible for agenda and issues management, strategic communications, policy and legislative matters, and handles resident inquiries related to planning files, revenue matters, and by-law issues. Tim also works closely with the Councillor on Ward 9 planning and development files and supports the Councillor at Council meetings. Dr. Tim Abray recently completed his PhD in Canadian Politics and Political Theory at Queen's University. Tim is an award-winning communications consultant who has worked in and around politics and public policy for more than 25-years, supporting senior decision-makers in both the public and private sectors. Tim has always been active in his communities. As is a former board member and chair of the planning committee for the Centretown Community Citizens Association and has served on various volunteer boards within his communities. He spends much of his spare time learning about fairness and balance from his teenage daughter.
