Join us on Tuesday, October 1 for our Ward 9 Older Adults Summit, being held in conjunction with Canada's National Seniors Day. From 12:30pm - 4:30pm in Halls A & B at the Nepean Sportsplex, Councillor Sean Devine will be hosting and facilitating an eclectic afternoon of programming, information resources, and networking. The day's events will include information booths, speakers and presentations focused on three themes:
- Housing Solutions for Seniors
- Public Safety
- Health & Wellness
We're pleased to announce that former CBC Ottawa News anchor Lucy van Oldenberneveld will be our special guest host at the event! More info on programming will be found on this website in the coming weeks.

Admission is free. Refreshments will be served. The Nepean Sportsplex is located at 1701 Woodroffe Avenue and is a fully accessible venue. Halls A & B are found via the rear parking lot, where there is plenty of free parking. OC Transpo has bus stops at the intersection of Woodroffe and West Hunt Club, with #74 and #75 being the main bus routes.
